ICS 400 Advanced   

This 2-day course provides training on and resources for personnel who has a responsibility to function in a command post managing and expanding incident. Topics include use of an Incident Complex and Area Command, and the interactions between Multi-Agency Coordination (MAC) entities.

Prerequisites: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, IS-700, IS-800

Target Audience: This course is designed for senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in the Area Command or Multi-Agency Coordination Entity.

Additional Information:

1) Come in the main entrance of the college and go around the roundabout. It's a brick building on north end of campus we sit behind the tennis courts. 2) Please park in the parking lot to the west of are building and use the southwest entrance of the building. 3) Meals are on your own, adequate time will be provided. 4) This multi-day course is supported with Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) funding. You may request lodging reimbursement if you traveled an excess of 50 miles one-way and are an Iowa resident. Before making lodging reservations and Prior to start of class, email your lodging reimbursement request to HSEMDTraining@iowa.gov limited to funding availability. 5) All other travel will be on your own if the above doesn't apply or requested.
