911 PSAP Leadership Training
This course has been designed to provide an overview of the 911 Program in Iowa for those in positions of leadership within a PSAP. The contents of the training may include:
? A brief history and overview of the 911 system in Iowa
? Review of the laws and rules that govern 911 system regulations
? Review of the different governing bodies within the 911 system
? Review administrative forms and requirements, such as due dates, individual forms, etc.
? Review funding sources such as grants, surcharges, etc.
? Miscellaneous Operational Information
Attendees of this course will gain a better understanding of 911 in the State of Iowa.
Prerequisites: Must be in a position of leadership in a PSAP or transitioning into a position of leadership.
Target Audience: This training is designed for incoming and current PSAP leadership.
