G 318 Local Mitigation Planning Workshop   

This workshop is to assist participants in undertaking the planning process that results in a hazard mitigation plan that meets the needs of their community and fulfills the requirements for local plans.

Additional Information:

1) Butler County EMA building, come through the gate and parking lot is south of the building. Come in the main entrance door (south) and straight into the training room. 2) Please follow the current CDC guidelines, and if you are feeling ill, have a temperature, or a sore throat, please stay home. 3) Travel and meals will be on your own-unless the below statement doesn't apply. There is a refrigerator and microwave available to use. 4) This multi-day course is supported with Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) funding. You may request lodging reimbursement if you traveled an excess of 50 miles one way and an Iowa resident. ? Prior to start of class, email your lodging reimbursement request to HSEMDTraining@iowa.gov ? Lodging reimbursement is limited to the first 5 registrants who respond prior to start of class. ? Maximum lodging reimbursement will be State of Iowa rate of $80 + taxes = $89.60/night. ? TAKE NOTE: lodging restrictions beginning January 1, 2022 for those requesting reimbursement.
